SECCA is where? Take Your Pick

WINSTON-SALEM, NC - The Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art (SECCA) is creating a menu of options for contemporary art fans to get information about the latest exhibits and educational programs offered by the arts center.

The first stop for information about SECCA is the Web site www.secca.org. The site is updated regularly. For instance, there is a new section on SECCA Podcasts and a link to SECCA’s new blog. But that’s not all. Embedded in the Web site are links to SECCA’s presence on social networking sites. You can follow SECCA on MySpace, Facebook and Twitter right from the SECCA homepage at www.secca.org

“While SECCA is closed for renovations,” says Director Mark Leach, “it’s vital for us to reach out to the community to provide timely information about exhibitions and educational programming. We feel electronic media offers a cost-effective and immediate way to stay connected with our supporters.

“SECCA’s objective is to always offer a myriad of experiences not only in viewing and absorbing contemporary art, but also in everything we do — from educational programming, to selecting exhibitions to communicating with the public ” Leach says.
