September Programs at the N.C. Museum of History

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month during a lively festival, join programs related to the exhibit Real to Reel: The Making of Gone with the Wind (opening Aug. 31), and experience more at the N.C. Museum of History in Raleigh. September programs bring something for all ages.

The Sept. 29 fun-filled family event ¡Celebración! will feature music and dance performances by Latino groups, craft and cooking demonstrations, and children’s activities. Best of all, it’s free.

Speaking of free, see the film Gone with the Wind on Sept. 8. Come back on Sept. 23 for an insightful lecture about the “Old South” and American popular culture.

Take advantage of September’s offerings at the N.C. Museum of History. Programs are free unless otherwise noted. Parking is free on weekends.
