Award-winning humorist and former Miss North Carolina Jeanne Swanner Robertson uses her down-home Southern drawl to leave audiences laughing. Known as one of the most popular public speakers in America, she turns her life experiences into hilarious stories.
See Robertson in person during two performances on Sunday, Oct. 28, in Daniels Auditorium at the North Carolina Museum of History in Raleigh. Her 3:30 p.m. performance costs $30 per person. Or join a special evening event with a 7 p.m. performance at $50 per person, which includes an opportunity to meet Robertson and other former Miss North Carolinas; a coffee and dessert reception; one of Robertson’s DVDs; and a tour of the exhibit Miss North Carolina: Celebrating 75 Years of Memories.
Tickets are available in the Museum Shop or by calling (919) 807-7835. Seating is limited, so purchase your tickets early. All proceeds will benefit the North Carolina Museum of History and the Miss North Carolina Scholarship Fund.
Whether Robertson is sharing her experiences as a 6-foot-2-inch Miss Congeniality winner in the 1963 Miss America Pageant or stories of her life in North Carolina, she will take Southern humor to new heights. Come find out why she has received every top honor in her profession and captivated audiences for decades.
